What is permitted, and encouraged: asking every customer for feedback, equally, regardless of how happy they are. That is the entire design of the product.

2. Your business page

Prohibited: impersonating another business or brand; using a name, logo or branding you have no right to; representing yourself as a bank, government body, payment service or telecom operator; linking to malware, phishing or unlawful content; publishing obscene, hateful, defamatory or unlawful content.

We screen new business pages for brand impersonation and may suspend a page within minutes where we believe it is being used to deceive.

3. Customer data

Prohibited: using contact details customers gave you through Drishti for marketing, promotional messaging or any purpose other than resolving their experience; selling or transferring that data; collecting data you have no lawful basis to collect.

4. Platform integrity

Prohibited: submitting false feedback about your own business; manipulating scan or response counts; automated or scripted use of the customer page; probing or circumventing security; attempting to access another business's data; reselling access without a written agreement.

5. Enforcement

Depending on severity we may warn you, disable a feature, suspend the account, or terminate it. Where the breach involves review manipulation we may also be required to inform Google.

We will tell you what we believe you did and give you a chance to respond, except where immediate action is needed to prevent harm.

6. Reporting
